Our volunteers are an essential part of Camp Chautauqua’s ministry — the backbone that keeps everything running. Throughout the year, volunteers help us create life-changing experiences for youth and families. Their time, energy, and servant hearts make it possible for us to reach more campers and share the love of Christ.

Whether you give a day, a weekend, or an entire season, there’s a place for you to serve!

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

  • Join our recreation team and help create fun, meaningful experiences for our guests. Recreation volunteers should enjoy being active, outdoors, and connecting with others. Our goal is to challenge campers while encouraging them to grow and lean into Christ through every activity.

  • Food service volunteers help make camp feel like home. From preparing and serving meals to creating a welcoming atmosphere, this team shows Christ’s love through hospitality. In addition to the dining hall, we rely on volunteers to help in The Porch and The Grandview Grill — our two busiest food options open twice a day during the summer. These roles are fun, fast-paced, and provide a great way to connect with campers. Whether you are helping in the kitchen or serving a milkshake at The Porch, your efforts help fuel the ministry — both physically and spiritually.

  • Help us keep Camp Chautauqua beautiful! From mowing and planting to seasonal cleanup and maintenance projects, landscaping volunteers play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for every guest who steps on campus.
