How does Chautauqua handle dietary concerns?


We at Chautauqua make every effort to accommodate our guests as they come onto our campus. However, we do not offer custom food selections for every individual, particularly for summer camp. We do accommodate medicaly imperative dietary concerns and will provide options for those individuals with medically imperative conditions.

What is Chautauqua's Online Registration Policy?


All deposits are nonrefundable. In the event of the participant's cancellation, a full refund (except deposit) may be requested up to 10 days prior to the first day of the event. No refund will be available after 10 days prior to the start of the event. If 'Chautauqua Payment Plan' is selected during registration and balance is not paid in full at time of order or at any point prior to 10 days before the start of event, the balance will be charged to the card used to make the registration deposit.
In the event that your information and payment is not complete, we reserve the right to terminate your enrollment. (Exceptions may be made by the event administrator.) In the case a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, a $30 fee will be added to your balance.

What about Lost & Found Items?


We hope that no one loses anything while here, but if you do and it is found (or turned in), we'll hold onto it for 7 days before doing anything with it. If you would like retrieved items mailed to you, shipping fees must be covered at your expense before mailing. For questions or to check on a lost item, please contact info@thecampbytheriver.com
