Summer Camp

Camp Chautauqua is located on 40 beautiful acres and is equipped with an Olympic-size swimming pool, an 18-hole miniature golf course and a 10-lane bowling alley. We also have indoor and outdoor basketball courts, as well as a variety of other activities. Our newly remodeled dormitories and cabins are all air-conditioned and can accommodate more than 600 campers.

Our new indoor cafeteria is air-conditioned and heated and you won't be disappointed in the food. Our newly built 22,000 square foot multi-purpose building has become the center point of our facility. It serves as an auditorium, a gymnasium, a cafeteria and much more.

Each summer, thousands of young people, with suitcase and sleeping bag in hand, pile onto buses and vans from all over the country and head for Camp Chautauqua. Located in southern Ohio, our camp isn't just another youth camp.

Purpose: Chautauqua is in existence for the purpose of bringing young people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, ground them in their Christian faith and instill moral values and principles into the family unit based upon Biblical truth.

Our camp is available during weekends in the summer and during the week or weekend during our off-season. Our facilities make our camp good for more than just retreats. We can house Christian school's athletic camps in football, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, bowling, and tennis.

NOTE: Chautauqua allows non-profit groups, schools, and service organizations that agree to observe the rules and policies of Camp Chautauqua to use its facilities. In keeping with our purpose and beliefs, the camp manager has the authority to schedule or refuse the use of Chautauqua's facilities.
